Our Lambs of Light Early Discipleship ministry, designed for children aged 2 years old and up, provides a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where young hearts can experience the love of God and learn foundational biblical truths. Through engaging lessons and meaningful activities, we equip them to grow into strong, Christ-centered individuals who will impact the world for His kingdom.
We believe that childhood is the perfect time to introduce the light of Christ, and through this program, we walk alongside families to sow seeds of faith that will continue to grow throughout their lives.

The Heart of Early Discipleship
Our philosophy of early discipleship is centered on the belief that children are never too young to start building a relationship with God. Through the Lambs of Light program, we seek to:
Introduce God’s Word to young hearts:
By teaching the Bible through stories, songs, and activities, we make sure children are familiar with the core truths of Scripture.

We focus on helping children understand key concepts such as God’s love, kindness, and forgiveness.

How Lambs of Light Works
WHAT TO EXPECT ???
Age-Appropriate Learning:
Lambs of Light combines the best elements of Sunday School and Children’s Church to create a well-rounded, engaging experience. Whether it’s through energetic worship, Bible stories, hands-on activities, or group discussions, our program ensures that each child’s faith grows and thrives in a safe, exciting, and loving environment.
- Engaging Worship Time
Children begin with a high-energy worship session filled with music, movement, and praise. This is their opportunity to connect with God through singing and dancing, celebrating His goodness and love. It’s a great way to start the day with joy and excitement!
- Bible Teaching & Storytelling
Following worship, children dive into Bible stories that teach the foundational truths of God’s Word. We use creative storytelling, visual aids, and interactive discussions to ensure the lessons are engaging and memorable. Whether learning about Jesus, the fruits of the Spirit, or God’s love, children leave with a deeper understanding of who God is.
- Interactive Learning & Creative Play
To reinforce the lesson, children will participate in fun activities such as crafts, games, or small group discussions. These activities are designed to help kids reflect on the Bible story, build friendships, and apply the teaching to their everyday lives.
- Trustworthy Relationships
Our team of leaders invests in building positive relationships with each child, providing consistent care and attention during each session. We’re dedicated to creating a welcoming, safe environment where kids can learn, play, and grow.
- Closing Worship or Prayer
We close the service with a time of reflection, prayer, or additional worship. Children have the opportunity to pray, share, and commit what they’ve learned to God. This helps them internalise the message and take it with them into the week ahead.
Partnering with Parents
At Lambs of Light, we believe that a child’s faith journey extends beyond what happens during Sunday services. We’re dedicated to partnering with parents to continue nurturing faith at home throughout the week. As parents, you play the most important role in shaping your child’s spiritual growth as their primary disciplers, and we’re here to support and equip you every step of the way.
We provide families with weekly take-home materials that reinforce what children learn in Lambs of Light, offering simple devotionals, memory verses, and tips for spiritual conversations. Beyond that, we offer family events where you can connect, worship, and have fun together, deepening the spiritual bond at home.

FAMILY PRAYER TIME IDEAS
Making prayer a regular part of your family routine helps to establish a foundation of faith for your child. Here are a few ideas to make family prayer time meaningful:
- Bedtime Prayers: End the day with a prayer of gratitude, thanking God for the day and asking for His peace through the night.
- Praise Jar: Each week, write down things you’re grateful for as a family and put them in a jar. Once a week, pull out a few and thank God for His goodness together.
- Simple Bible Verse Prayers: Teach your child simple Bible verses that can become their own prayers, like “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1).
